Plate Compactor (Vibratory Plate)

WHAT IT IS

A vibratory plate compactor uses an eccentric rotating mass to generate high-frequency vibration (80–100 Hz) that consolidates granular soils, crusher run, sand, gravel, and asphalt for road bases, paving, and backfill on Malaysian civil and building sites. Operating weight 60–130 kg; centrifugal compaction force 8–25 kN; base plate width 400–560 mm. Powered by Honda GX, Robin EY, or equivalent petrol engine rated 3.5–6.5 HP. Compaction layer maximum 150–200 mm per JKR specifications. Forward-plate models for open areas; reversible-plate models for trenches and confined spaces. CIDB plant registration may be required on regulated projects.
