A miniature circuit breaker (MCB) is a resettable electromechanical device that automatically disconnects a circuit on overload or short-circuit, replacing rewireable fuses in consumer units and distribution boards. Rated 230/400 V, 6-63 A to MS IEC 60898-1:2007. Type B (trips 3-5x rated current) for lighting and heating; Type C (5-10x) for motors and fluorescent loads. Breaking capacity 6 kA minimum. Available in 1-pole, 2-pole, 3-pole, 4-pole. SIRIM certification mandatory. Also known as pemutus litar or circuit breaker. HS 8536201100 · duty 15% · SST 10%.
